About

Fleeing the darker sides of his own personality, young Julian Vincenzo Pollina embarks on a bizarre journey in which the boundaries between reality and fiction begin to blur. Through mysterious encounters and surreal experiences, he is forced to confront the question of whether he can escape his inevitable fate or is already destined to fulfil it. Addio, or the Inevitable Tragedy of Arrogance is a narrative short film written by Felix Aaron and Faber, exploring the underlying themes of Faber’s album Addio. Moving between personal reflection and surreal fiction, the film follows an artist confronting his own contradictions, searching for alternative versions of himself, only to find his way back to who he has always been.
