Berq – Trautonium

For BERQ’s TRAUTONIUM press portraits, we developed a photographic concept inspired by the distinctive materiality and design of the instrument that gives the album its name, bridging the artist’s existing visual identity with a more mature and refined aesthetic. Drawing from the warm wooden surfaces of the Trautonium, we created a monochromatic environment that feels equally stylized and organic. The subtle interplay between the wooden panelling and BERQ’s natural skin tones creates a sense of warmth and intimacy, while the carefully composed imagery introduces a more architectural quality. Balancing nostalgia with modernism, the portraits offer a first glimpse into the visual world of TRAUTONIUM, marking the beginning of a new chapter in BERQ’s artistic evolution.
