Berq – Still

For BERQ’s single STILL, we wanted to evolve the visual world established with his Rote Flaggen EP, preserving its youthful intimacy while introducing a more mature, slightly surreal aesthetic. At the centre of the film is the familiar motif of a bed, now relocated from the warmth of a childhood bedroom to the cold, unfamiliar surroundings of a first apartment. As warm reds give way to cool blues, the environment increasingly reflects BERQ’s emotional state. Through subtle abstractions of light, space and atmosphere, we explored the fragile space between reality and imagination, capturing a moment of transition between adolescence and adulthood.
