Berq – Mein Herz

For MEIN HERZ, the third single from BERQ’s album TRAUTONIUM, we continued to explore the fragile boundary between reality and imagination, allowing his emotional world to increasingly affect the physical environment around him. Following BERQ on a journey through the night in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, we move backwards through fragments of a past relationship, gradually tracing his memories to the origin of a feeling. As the journey unfolds, familiar places and intimate encounters become increasingly abstract, with subtle shifts in light and perspective reflecting his fragmented emotional state. Balancing cinematic realism with surreal interventions, the film explores how memory reshapes our perception of love and loss, until the distinction between emotional and physical reality begins to dissolve.
