For BERQ’s single MEIN HASS TRITT DIR DIE HAUSTÜR EIN, we ventured deeper into the surreal world established throughout the previous chapters, revealing a darker, previously unseen side of his personality. Leaving behind the familiar warmth of reality, the film descends into a cold, unsettling environment where the boundaries between fiction and reality have become almost impossible to distinguish. Moving through the narrow, labyrinthine corridors of a storage facility, we discover a hidden room, concealing an emotion kept away from the outside world. Through stark abstractions of light, space and atmosphere, the film unfolds like a fever dream, transforming BERQ’s inner turmoil into a physical reality.
