Berq – Einmal Verliebt

For the outro of BERQ’s ROTE FLAGGEN EP, we developed an intimate, abstract performance exploring the emotional uncertainty that follows a moment of renewed closeness. Set within a stylized bedroom, the film captures the fragile space between happiness, relief and the lingering question of whether returning to someone you once loved was the right decision. Beginning with a series of intimate, observational moments, the film gradually transitions into a carefully choreographed one-shot performance. Illuminated by a sculptural overhead light, BERQ moves restlessly through the room, his gestures reflecting an inner struggle between longing and doubt. As the girl reappears, their movements slowly find a shared rhythm, culminating in an almost surreal embrace where their silhouettes seem to merge into one.
