Kelvyn Colt x Mercedes Benz‘
I Know
(25.07.2020)
We developed the visual outline and narrative concept for our film of the collaboration of Kelvyn Colt and renowned car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz with our long-time partner in crime, the creative director 27bucks. His approach was defined as a living collage of pop-cultural references that blended in with the actual artists' persona free of visual boundaries. A contextualization of the artist in well-known environments such as movies, sports, and music, in which we portray Kelvyn in odd-yet-energetic roles. This strong profile gives us a glimpse of his sleepless mind space.
In between worlds, the lines between reality and fiction start to blur as the artist overwhelms his private persona, sucking him into a dream-like world somewhere between nightmare and euphoria. Weaving the car into our narrative made it evident to portray it as part of this world, where the fantastic prototype realms the dreams as it feels like the hyperrealistic partner to the real world's vehicle our artist owns in the film.
