Antipaper‘
Dj Gigola Cover
(06.02.2025)
The conceptual approach for this cover story featuring DJ Gigola for ANTI PAPER is based on group therapy, reflecting the different facets of the artist through recreating stylized versions that are fragments of her potentially real character. Those different facets will draw inspiration from the holistic concept of healing, which is the basis of successful group therapy. We aim to display the consequences of healing that are considered to be change, meaning and wholeness.
These facets are brought to life through avatar-like role-play characters, which basically equals high-end Styling as well as Hair and makeup, emerging from the artist‘s persona herself.
Stylized through Styling, as well as Hair and makeup, we pushed those characters to perfection through the portrayed attitude, placing them all in the same set, a sleek gym room with a chair as a prop hinting towards the archetypical group therapy location, contrasting this rather authentic narrative and location with a crisp and clean light set-up.
