Antipaper‘
Cora Corré Cover
(11.07.2024)
The conceptual approach for our first creative collaboration for the very first issue of ANTI PAPER is based on the idea of creating at least three different looks, three different facets of Cora dressed in archive pieces of Vivienne Westwood and carefully selected additional vintage pieces, showcasing the wide ranging spirit of the work she created. We visually quote different genres with a modern approach while maintaining a particular archetypical essence. Let‘s focus on one setting emerging from punk with a romantic twist, highlighting its unisex and colorful undertone. A second could carve out the extravagant and rebellious fashion introduced in the 90s, the peak of high fashion worldwide, where, in our case, British elegance is paired with French Exaggeration tied together in an almost theatrical atmosphere. The third would highlight the collaboration of street style and fashion, the true nonconformist approach of bridging the gap between those two.
Having set those scenes, we aim to highlight Cora‘s facets within this visual outline, where we can show her different parts of her authentic self in a stylized environment, a selection of the several things she is: an activist, a model, a family person to name a few, binding tradition, responsibility, but as well the desire to dress up. In doing so, we aim for the photography to set the stage for more than just one Cora because that‘s life.
