The visual concept behind the editorial for the debut issue of Antipaper is rooted in the idea of a minimalist, neutral lookbook that allows the focus to remain on the unique shirts created exclusively for Antipaper. This approach highlights the diverse talents photographed in the garments of the different artists featured, each contributing a one-of-a-kind piece to the magazine. In their differences, these artists reflect the wide range of creative expressions that Antipaper embodies.
The shirts themselves serve as a canvas for their interpretation of "Anti" and what it signifies to them, a theme that resonated deeply with us. As such, we deliberately chose not to push the visual direction of our photos into extremes. Our goal was to ensure that each artist’s vision is presented authentically, without compromising the integrity of their intended message.
